The Christian and the Unbelievable Works Of Faith

The meanings of faith, both in the spiritual and temporal, are coterminous. To the Christians, faith is understood to be the trust in "somebody's ability or knowledge; trust that somebody will do what has been promised." In whom do the Christians have such trust? God!
Our relationship with God is faith-based. It admits no prevarication. It is the Christians' ability to take God for His Word. And that brings us home to the knowledge of the heartfelt inner conviction that God isn't and can't be different than He says He is and without further ado He does all He says He will.
We have a succinct testimonial of this in Paul's words:"...for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day." (2 Timothy 1: 12 KJV). A declaration of total surrender and absolute trust in His Lordship can't be more resonant than this.
Christianity without faith amounts to nothing. For, it will mean that the self-confessed Christian is just out to acquire mere labels to accord him a handle and, unfortunately, handles aren't the requirements that please God. "But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him." (Hebrew11:6 KJV).
The redolent echo we again have to come away with from the foregoing scripture is that faith involves seeking and waiting, which are fundamental components of growth both in the spiritual and natural. Seeking and waiting on God are rather justly more compelling in our match toward spiritual maturity than in other spheres of life.
But it gets said, very often, that "seeing is believing." This is a worldly statement because in Christianity the converse holds sway: "believing is seeing" - the spiritual meaning of "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." (Hebrews 11:1 KJV).
So, have the belief that God is able to make all grace abound toward you so you can be on the sure road to your spiritual growth - the way to keep your faith permanently sustained.
