The Goal of Instruction 1 Tim. 1:1-7

One of the purposes of going to church every Sunday and during the week is to recieve godly instructions from the word of God. These instructions have only one goal-to prevent us from falling into wrong teaching and to have love for one another.

This Love, according to a version of the Bible, The message, "should be uncontaminated by self-interest and  counterfeit faith, it should be a life open to God" (v.5). Paul was saying that some people have missed this Love and turned to useless, idle and gossip talk.

One of the ways to identify those who do not actualise the goal of godly instructions, is lack of love for the brethen, engaging in backbiting, slandering or assasinating other people character, not seeing any good in what people do, etc. If you have any of these symptoms, you better try to get them out  your system through prayer.
