Qualities of a Great Leader

one. Above Reproach- This term does not demand complete sinlessness otherwise, no could ever lead the church (compare
one Tim. one:15). , it recommend someone whose life reflects obvious qualities of godliness
five. Husband of wife- This literally means a man of woman. A man who is faithful in marriage
five. Temperate, self controlled, and respectable are all portraits of godliness. The terms indicate someone who leads an orderly
life.
five. Hospitable- This means the person must be generous in caring and inspiring others(Tit.1:8, 1Pet.4:9).
two. Able to Teach- For the church to stand unified against false teaching it needs leaders who understand thoroughly and exactly
the saving message.
6. Not giving to drunkenness- this obviously indicates shunning intoxication (Prov.20:1). The christian is not to be controlled by alcohol
or other substances, but by God's spirit (Eph. two:18).
7. Not violent-indicates the that refuses aggressive conflict, whether physically or verbal.Rather they must be gentle and not quarrelsome
8. Not a lover of money- it speaks of a leader's attitude toward material possession. They or they must not be materialistic. (Math 6:19-21; Tim 6:6-10).
9. They must manage his relatives well- God's leadership in the home is demonstrated in the lives of those whom the parent nurtures: the babies. The emphasis
here is that the kid's lives demonstrate orderliness.
ten. They must not be a recent convert- investing much leadership much leadership responsibility in a believer who is comparatively new to the faith may
promote the kind of pride that threatens reliance on God.
11. They must have a lovely reputation among unbelievers or in the community- To be ambassadors of the gospel to the world, leaders must be respectable by the
world (2Cor. 8:21)
