Thinning The Ranks Judges7:2-8

Our God is Powerful that he can deliver with few number of people. The Bible says, some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we will remember the name of the Lord our God. Those who trust in horses and chariots are brought down and they fall. We are risen and stand upright (Ps. 20:7-8). After Gideon had been convinced to lead war against the Midianites, he gathered 32,000 people to himself to do the work with him. But God said the people were to many, lest they boast that their hands have brought victory to themselves. Hence, God pruned down the number to only 300 people. Do you realize that God is the brain behind all the various victories you have been recording? It is not by your might or power that you are excelling. God is the source. Give Him all the glory and praise
